About me

I’m a founder and CTO. I still write the code, the firmware, and the models when that’s what the problem needs.
I studied Biomedical Sciences at the University of Central Florida and started in biomedical signal-processing research. From there the work moved into software, telecommunications, embedded systems, artificial intelligence, computer vision, interactive entertainment, and building companies.
I’ve been an engineer, a founder, a CEO, and a CTO. A reliability lesson from writing firmware changes how I architect an AI platform. Research changes how I run a product experiment. Unit economics can make the technically “best” architecture the wrong one.
I start with the problem, not the default stack. How often does this actually hit someone? If it’s every day, it’s worth going deep.

Leadership
I’ve led teams with up to nine direct reports — hiring, performance, organizational decisions, budgets, and vendors. The architecture only matters if the spend is pointed at something the business actually needs.
I previously co-founded Teletech Global and Star BPM, and led both through successful exits involving acquisition of the operating businesses and customer relationships.

I help with funding and operations for a 2,000+ volunteer network, support the Boys & Girls Clubs partnership, and contribute to technology and clinic initiatives.
Education and the rest
I earned a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Central Florida. The rest of the time: health and biotech, travel, Formula 1, pickleball, and tinkering with cars.
